- Initial Impressions Matter: From the moment you step into our clinic, you’ll feel warmly welcomed and at ease. Our spacious reception area offers amenities like coffee, tea, water, and even delicious snacks for you and your pet! Our friendly team will greet you and your beloved pet with warm smiles. We’re genuinely delighted to meet you! Additionally, we provide separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, ensuring their comfort and peace of mind. However, if you and your pet prefer to wait together in a private exam room, we are always happy to accommodate your preferences.
- The Check-In Process: Upon your arrival, please check in with our client care specialist. You may be requested to complete some forms, including your pet’s medical history and a consent form. We’re always pleased to assist you in obtaining your pet’s medical records from your previous veterinary clinic. These documents are crucial for our veterinarians to gain a comprehensive understanding of your pet’s health.
- Meeting Your Veterinarian: After checking in, you and your pet will be taken to an exam room where you will meet your pet’s veterinarian. This is your opportunity to get to know your veterinarian and for them to get to know you and your pet. They will ask you questions about your pet’s medical history, any current health concerns, and your pet’s lifestyle.
- A List Of Medications: If your pet is currently taking any medications, it’s important to bring a list of them with you to your pet’s first visit. This includes prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, and any supplements or vitamins they are taking. Our veterinarians need to know about all the medications to ensure there are no potential interactions or conflicts with any new medications they may prescribe.
- Examination: Your veterinarian will perform a physical examination of your pet. This will include checking their weight, temperature, heart rate, and overall appearance. They will also examine your pet’s eyes, ears, mouth, and paws for any signs of illness or injury.
- Vaccinations and Preventative Care: Depending on your pet’s age and medical history, your veterinarian may recommend certain vaccinations or preventative care measures. This can include flea and tick prevention, heartworm medication, and other vaccinations to protect your pet from common illnesses.
